I went out and got myself a real scale. This scale measures body fat along with your weight. I have always wanted one of these.
It is a model 2001 scale made by Tanita “The Ultimate Scale”.
It works electronically through these sensor pads that you stand on with your bare feet. I guess it passes some low level current through your feet to get the readings. I’m not really sure about that, but that is my understanding of how it works.
You program it with your height. Then it uses your height and the weight that it measures to calculate your body fat percentage. It is really cool. Well, it is cool until you see how fat you really are. Then it stinks.
The old scale went out to the curb with the weekly garbage. Bye-bye old cruel scale. I will not miss your worn hard to read dial.
